Cloudy afternoon at Moraine lake

Most of the lakes in Canadian Rockies are blue in color and many of them show excellent reflections. But Moraine lake is exceptionally blue and beautiful. It is glacier fed lake and the color of the lake is a result of light refracting off the “rock floor” (fine sediments of rock) in the glacier runoff which flows into the lake.
